Some of our upper KS2 pupils made models with the title of ‘Albrighton Primary School’. They then used this experience to write a recount using fantastic time connectives at the start of each paragraph!

Christmas Fair!

We are all looking forward to our Christmas Fair today 3rd December. Start at 6pm to finish at 8pm. See you there!

Trip to Cosford

Class 8 had a fantastic time getting up close and personal with owls and birds of prey. Inspired by this and using their Google sketchup designs they built bird boxes with expert tuition from members of Carillion and RAF Cosford. The class throughly enjoyed their time using drills and seeing how computer models can become real life products. Our thanks to all at RAF Cosford and Carillion for their time and expertise.

Tree planting

Our thanks go to Mr Bulmer who assisted our pupils in planting trees in very muddy conditions. The children greatly enjoyed themselves and we hope the trees will be here for future generations to enjoy.

Carding Mill Valley

Year 5 and 6 used their Mathematical and Geographical skills in an extremely practical session at Carding Mill Valley. They investigated river life, water flow, how meanders are formed and many other fun activities. A great time was had by all and our measuring skills are vastly improved!
