Trip to Cosford

16 11 2009

Class 8 had a fantastic time getting up close and personal with owls and birds of prey. Inspired by this and using their Google sketchup designs they built bird boxes with expert tuition from members of Carillion and RAF Cosford. The class throughly enjoyed their time using drills and seeing how computer models can become real life products. Our thanks to all at RAF Cosford and Carillion for their time and expertise.

My daughter Charlotte W thoroughly enjoyed the workshop at Cosford, and was also very proud to have planted a new tree in the school grounds. I think it is important for the children to understand how to contribute to help protect the environment and how important it is.
